Torsemide is used to help treat fluid retention (edema) and swelling that is caused by congestive heart failure, liver disease, kidney disease. It belongs to the group of medicines called loop diuretics (water pills). This medicine works by acting on the kidneys to increase the flow of urine.

Apixaban is used to treat or prevent deep venous thrombosis, a condition in which harmful blood clots form in the blood vessels of the legs. These blood clots can travel to the lungs and can become lodged in the blood vessels of the lungs, causing a condition called pulmonary embolism.

Apigat 5 Tablet contains Apixaban 5 mg, an anticoagulant (blood thinner) used to prevent and treat blood clots, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation.
